Traveling on this journey, we’ve often seen that once the precepts of the Strong Delusion are set aside, an entirely new reading of scripture is assured. A case in point is the prophecy of ancient Joseph as recorded in 2Nephi 3. Mormons have claimed for generations that the prophecy was written about Joseph Smith because of the inferences in verse fifteen even though the writers don’t specify the exact name to be used in the future prophecy.
